Erin and Jason had the most delightful wedding at Vintage Villas. We had really been looking forward to seeing them again since their engagement session on the Lakeway Greenbelt back in July. Erin had been planning from out of town, so she enlisted the help of the lovely Rosa with Austin Wedding Planners by Rosa. Rosa had everything running like clockwork. Starting in the bride’s room at one of the villas, Erin got all dolled up by Lauren with Lucie Marie while all her bridesmaids were getting ready upstairs. Boy did the party start once this fun bunch of gals came down to see Erin! The stunning florals by Verbena Floral Design were the perfect compliment to the vine covered arbor that overlooks the lake at Vintage Villas. I loved how Erin incorporated traditions from both her and Jason’s heritages like a bagpiper and Celtic handfasting during the ceremony. The best moment of the ceremony was when it was time for the exchange of rings, and the best man didn’t have them. Jason called his trusty dog, Roscoe, who came running over with the rings which were dangling from his collar on a carabiner. The look on Erin’s face was priceless, but of course Roscoe had taken good care of the rings. The weather was a bit warm for October, but this gorgeous sunset during our romantic session made up for the humidity. After a delicious dinner, the guests were treated to a fabulous cake from Erin’s Custom Cakes, one of our favorite cake makers. I can’t even begin to describe the antics on the dance floor, but let’s just say everyone had a great time with Live Oak DJ. It is always such a honor to photograph a wedding for one of our serviceman, and we feel so blessed to have been a part of Erin and Jason’s big day.
