Kirsten and Asher found us through their venue, Kindred Oaks. They wanted to make sure they got the vendors they wanted, so they started planning a year out. That is always a good idea! About a month before the wedding, we did Kirsten’s bridal session at Kindred Oaks. We couldn’t decide which was more stunning, the lovely bride or the amazing sunset! The day of the wedding turned out to be beautiful as well, even though it was in January, which can be a bit on the cold side sometimes. I could not get over how gorgeous the bouquets from Zuzu’s Petals were. Kirsten had picked the perfect palette of light sage and pastel pinks and yellows to complement her bridesmaids’ navy dresses. And the elegant cake from Cakes by Galyna was just about naked cake perfection. We were so happy that the couple made time for us to get these fabulous sunset shots. It doesn’t always work out so perfectly because of the wedding venue location or overcast skies, but it’s so awesome when it does! After a fantastic meal from Eudora’s Cuisine and some good times on the dance floor with D & C Entertainment, the happy couple was ready to run through the sparklers and off to their honeymoon. All the best to Kirsten and Asher!
