Wow, what a gorgeous wedding Charlotte and Allan had at Texas Old Town! There were so many unique touches from the succulents in Charlotte’s hair to the wild hula hooping on the dance floor. We have photographed at all the other halls at Texas Old Town, and we were excited about shooting our first wedding at Stone Hall, their newest reception hall. The lovely Rosa Gibson with Austin Wedding Planners by Rosa did such a great job keeping the day running on schedule. Even though it was January, and we have been having some cold spells recently, the weather turned out beautifully for their outdoor ceremony in front of the beautiful stone waterfall. The bouquets by Express Yourself Wedding Flowers true truly stunning and went perfectly with the array of colorful bridesmaids’ dresses. The guests enjoyed classic bar-b-que by Pok-e-Jo’s, and check out this fabulous wedding cake from Simon Lee with purple and orange leaves cascading down. We love working with live bands at weddings, and Hello Wheels kept everybody dancing and hula hooping all night. The best part of the whole wedding was Charlotte and her bridesmaids dancing to the last song of the night, “Magic Dance” sung by David Bowie in the movie Labyrinth. They were having way too much fun!
