Jacob’s Long Center Senior Portraits

Jacob’s senior portrait session took us to the Long Center and Butler Park, giving us room for a mix of clean environmental portraits and baseball-focused images. With college ahead in the fall and plans to keep playing baseball, it made sense to include that important part of his story.

The daytime locations brought in downtown views, stairs, walkways, and bold structural lines without taking attention away from Jacob. They were a solid contrast to the darker portraits we made later in the session.

We shot into the night to create the studio-style images Jacob had in mind. The controlled light and dark backgrounds kept the focus on his baseball uniform, bat, and ball, while the lit fountain and distant city lights gave a few portraits a distinctly Austin setting.
