Cindi and Dwayne came to us from their wedding planner, the lovely Rosa with Austin Wedding Planners, who did a stellar job helping them plan their wedding from out of town. Cindi and I had a lovely chat on over the phone, and she decided we were the photographers for them. We were excited to meet them for the first time at their engagement session. Cindi had grown up here, and she wanted some fun shots around town that reflected the feel of Austin. So, of course, we hit up the “You’re My Butter Half” and the “I Love You So Much” murals. They are such a cute couple, and we had a lot of fun getting to know them. We love doing engagement sessions because it gives us a chance to see how a couple interacts with each other and helps us make them feel comfortable with us on the wedding day. As the light got softer, we went to Butler Park and then got these dramatic shots right at dusk at the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge.
