Nick’s senior portraits brought together a few important pieces of his high school years: McNeil High School, the sport he loves, and two very different portrait settings. We started with outdoor studio shots, then headed to Pennybacker Bridge for a change of scale and scenery.
The studio portion gave us a straightforward place for portraits in Nick’s letterman jacket, along with a darker, more focused look for the hockey images. Hockey is a major part of Nick’s life, and he hopes to continue playing in college, so including his gear was an easy decision.
Pennybacker Bridge Senior Portraits
At Pennybacker Bridge, the rocks, bridge structure, open sky, and view across the water gave the session a completely different backdrop. It is a useful contrast to the studio work: one location keeps the attention tightly on the subject, while the other puts the portrait into a distinctly recognizable outdoor setting.
