Emily and Vance were referred to us by the very talented Ravner Salinas, who was going to be playing guitar for their ceremony music. They were planning their wedding at Cedar Bend Events from out of town and appreciated all the referrals they could get. We were very excited to be working at Cedar Bend Events, which was going to be a new venue for us. Even though it was raining on and off all day, Jillian and her staff did an outstanding job of handling all the logistics, so the wedding could go off without a hitch. Thanks to Maris Malone Calderon with makeup and Kelley Alba with hair, Emily was the picture perfect bride. Miraculously, the weather cleared up for just long enough after the ceremony to get these beautiful, romantic images of the happy couple. I fell in love with the shabby chic theme and all the softly colored and delicately textured floral arrangements that Cedar Bend Events did as well. Emily proudly told me Vance designed the wedding program and that he was good at everything he does. Emily and Vance were from Oklahoma and Texas respectively, so Tiny Pies made absolutely adorable pie pops in the shapes of Oklahoma and Texas. So cute! The dual state theme was carried over to the elegant wedding cake by The Best Little Cake Shop in Texas. After a down home bar-b-que dinner from Benny’s Texas Bar-B-Que, the guests got down and boogied thanks to Byrne Rock DJ. Get a load of all the fun props they had out on the dance floor. A very, very good time was had by all!
