Bridal portraits are very moving to photograph. One of my fondest memories from my wedding was seeing Christina for the first time in her wedding dress as she entered the church while I stood waiting with the pastor and the wedding party. I don’t recall very much from that day with all of the rushing about beginning at the crack of dawn but I remember that breathtaking vision of my bride to be entering the church. Wow! She was stunning! I’m always reminded of that image when I go out to shoot a bridal portrait which makes them very special to me.
Typically bridal portraits can be shot anywhere. We’ve shot bridal portraits at the Texas Capitol, downtown Austin, SOCO, Zilker Botanical Gardens, Barr Mansion and even more that I can’t think of off the top of my head. But I’m always looking for that perfect place to cause people to gasp in surprise at how perfectly it fits their vision for their bridal portraits. Bring your ideas of location as we are always interested in shooting at new places to create that vision that every little girl has when she thinks of how she’ll look in her wedding dress and ultimately in her bridal portraits. Those pictures are a priceless window into your past to share with your children and grandchildren; to relive the past for those who weren’t there. Austin is a great place for bridal portraits and there is nothing more I enjoy than seeing a bride in that beautiful dress ready to be captured for all her life. Wow! If you’d like us to shoot your bridal portraits in Austin give us a call at (512) 377-6169 or contact us and let’s talk about your dreams for your bridal.
