Alexander’s Austin senior portrait session moved through three very different settings: the Texas State Capitol, Waterloo Park, and the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage. The mix gave us room for graduation portraits, park portraits, and a few city-lit frames after dark.

Waterloo Park brought in the trees and open lawn, with Alexander’s purple bow tie and suspenders adding a consistent touch of color alongside his graduation gown. It was a good fit for a senior portrait session that didn’t need to stay in one setting.

At the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage and nearby streets, the repeating lines, railings, and evening city lights shifted the look considerably. Those locations gave the session a more graphic, urban direction while keeping the portraits personal to Alexander’s Austin experience.

Alexander has already started at Texas State University on a full scholarship, studying biology. He has also become president of the Texas State Ultimate Frisbee team—an impressive start to the next chapter after homeschooling and senior year.
